Join Outwood Social at Shrewsbury Parkrun on the last Saturday of every month (or nearest to end of month). All abilities are welcome, with the option to walk, jog or run.

The Shrewsbury Parkrun is a free, fun, and friendly weekly 5km community event, starting at 9am. The 5km route will take us around the Quarry park on tarmac paths, through avenues of trees and along the river Severn.

There are two short inclines, one near the start, which is then repeated at 3km. After completing a loop around the Quarry, runners head down the river, turn around at the monument and head back for another loop of the Quarry before a final run back to the monument, then into the finish area.

Once we have all finished we will head to a local coffee shop to refuel. House Coffee Co in Coleham is a family-run coffee shop, serving bacon sandwiches, avocado on toast, and their signature full house breakfast.

Please wear comfortable trainers and bring plenty of water.

Meet point: Please meet at 8.45am by the Band Stand in the Quarry. New runners can listen in on the New Runners Briefing from the Parkrun volunteers.

Parking: Parking is recommended at St Julians Friars, Bridge Street, or Frankwell Car Park.
