responsibility

Outwood Social works with certified instructors to ensure risk assessments are carried out for all of our activities and that the necessary safety procedures are adhered to. However, when attending our events, you are accepting full responsibility for yourself and any personal injury. Disclaimers will be provided at the start of some activities, and you will be asked to review and sign them before taking part.

We are a fully inclusive group and we will always endeavour to consider any medical, physical, mental or other health needs when planning, organising and delivering our events. If you have concerns that an event may be unsuitable for you, for example due to location or access restrictions, please speak to us directly via the Meetup direct message or email us at [email protected]

THE ENVIRONMENT

Where possible, please try to car share for events, so we can avoid overcrowding in car parks and lower our emissions as a community. Remember to protect our planet, take home what you bring with you and leave no trace. And please familiarise yourself with the Countryside Code. The Countryside Code for visitors is your guide to visiting the countryside. You must follow the signs in the countryside that tell you where you can go and who can use the right of way. You can read more here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-countryside-code .

PHOTOGRAPHY

When attending Outwood Social events, you agree that photography and videography may be captured for use on the Outwood Social social media channels, website, and/or for marketing purposes. If you would like to opt out, please inform the host at the beginning of the event or email [email protected].uk
