Starting from Middletown, this beautiful 7.5 mile walk takes in 2 of the Breidden hills. The walk consists of two climbs which can be quite steep and slippery if wet underfoot and takes us up and over the volcanic formations.

Middletown Hill is first topped with the remains of an Iron Age hillfort, before descending over the Bulthy Hill and down past The Admiral Rodney before ascending back up to Rodney’s Pillar. A monument built in 1781–82 to commemorate the naval victories of Sir George Brydges Rodney, Admiral of the White. Both summits boast great 360 degree views over Shropshire and North & Mid-Wales. On a good day you can see for miles into both England and Wales.
